Pearland High School

Who are we?

We are an Army JROTC program representing Pearland High School. We've been enabled in August 1995 and have been running since. Our program offers opportunities for cadets to develop lifelong leadership skills, build friendships and camaraderie, and gain real job experience. All cadets participate in many events throughout the year from volunteering for parking details in football games, all the way to service learning projects cleaning the city. These opportunities we do set us apart from the City of Pearland and we continue to do so every year.

If you are interested in joining the military or not, there is NO obligation in joining when in JROTC. However, there are benefits and we can assist you with any questions you ask.

What is Army JROTC?

The U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) is one of the largest character development and citizenship programs for youth in the world. The National Defense Act of 1916 established organized JROTC programs at public and private educational institutions.
